Travis Groff
Funeral Director
Born and raised in Oshkosh, Travis is the son of Thomas and Judy Groff. He attended local schools, graduating from Oshkosh North High School in 1989. Later that year, Travis joined the United States Army, as a medic, serving three years active duty and eight years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. He attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and in September of 1998, moved to Milwaukee to attend Mortuary Science school. Travis was employed by the Joseph E. Sass Funeral Home in Milwaukee as an apprentice. In May of 2000, Travis graduated from the Milwaukee Area Technical College in West Allis, Wisconsin, with an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science. Wanting to be closer to family and friends, Travis and his wife Renne moved back to Oshkosh , to better serve his hometown. Working in Oshkosh and the Fox Cities, Travis is very excited to be an owner/operator of Fox Cities Funeral & Cremation Services and looks forward to serving you and his community.

 

Lee Kation

Pre-planning Specialist 
Lee was born, raised, and educated in Oshkosh where he currently enjoys living in an historic Victorian home with his wife (Sheila) and their many pets.Having had extensive employment experiences in retail management as well as human services fields, Lee is uniquely equipped to bring his own brand of compassionate realism to his chosen career of pre-planning specialist.    He was licensed by the State of Wisconsin in 2007 as a licensed life insurance intermediary and preplanning specialist.In his free time Lee enjoys spending quiet time at home, reading, watching a good movie and doting on his friends and family.Lee has a strong belief that pre-planning is one of the most generous gifts that you can give your loved ones.  He will make himself available at your convenience and strive to exceed your expectations.

 

Richard L. Christl

Richard L Christl, FIC, LUTCF Owner, Licensed Wisconsin Intermediary Rick was raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and attended schools in the Oshkosh area.
Rick commenced his career in the insurance field in September 1979 and has held extensive positions in both sales and sales management. Additionally Rick was Vice President Sales for Sheboygan Casket Manufacturing Co., Inc from 1985 - 1989. Rick is married to Jane (Schimelpfenig), and together they have 7 children, and 6 grandchildren. Rick is knowledgable about preplanning and funding options. He will work with a family to make sure they are aware of all of their options and help them to choose the right ones for their budget and lifestyle. Rick can often be seen working at funerals, opening doors, hanging coats and even driving the funeral hearse.
