Dennis Flynn


Dennis Michael Flynn, age 60 passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side, on Wednesday October 8, 2008. Dennis was born in Milwaukee on May 17, 1948 the son of Edward J. and Helen M. (Retzer) Flynn. He was a graduate of Messmer High School of Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Dennis worked as a Probation and Parole Agent for the Department of Corrections for 20 years prior to his retirement in 2003 due to his illness. Dennis is survived by his wife of six years Anne (Lambeseder) Flynn, children Tamara M. Flynn and Matthew Jonas Flynn both of Oshkosh, stepdaughter Jennifer (Todd) Luebke, of Appleton, Wi., grandchildren Willem James, and Addison Anne Luebke, brothers Thomas (Tanja) Flynn, Carmel, Indiana and James P. Flynn, Arkansas. Nieces and nephews; Christina Flynn, Michael Flynn, Erin (Mark) Schneebeck, Kelly Flynn and E.J. Flynn. Brothers-in-law Thomas (Jean) Lambeseder, Michael (Kathy) Lambeseder, sisters-in-law, Suzanne (Edward) Flynn, Susan (Jeff) Rathman, and Julie (Jim) Stephany, numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives, special friends, and special canine soulmate "Izzy". He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and one brother Edward J. Flynn, Jr. A Celebration of Dennis' Life will be held on Friday October 17, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at Fox Cities Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name. A special thank you to the nurses and caregivers of Affinity Home Hospice for all their wonderful care and compassion that was given to Dennis and his family.
