Oren L. "Les" Widner


Oren L. Widner, age 78 of Montello, passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 7, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born in Kansas on October 9, 1929. Les married Gloria Rogers on May 11, 1984 in Leadville, Colorado and worked as a mechanic for the Leadville Highway Department, until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, fixing small engines, and liked tinkering with anything that needed fixing. Les is survived by his wife Gloria, of Montello, his children; Yvonne (Michael) Cartwright, of Ripon, Connie (Wayne) Stadtmueller, of Oshkosh, and Darrin Rogers, of Montello, grandchildren; Johnathan (fiancé Alyssa) Cartwright, of Green Bay, Amanda and Cassandra Stadtmueller, of Oshkosh, one brother; George Widner, one sister; Muriel Cook, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Private Family Service for Les will be held at a later date. A memorial is being established
